Visit of District Governor, Rotary District 3271 To RCK

As per an established practice, an incumbent District Governor visits all the clubs of the District, during his / her one-year tenure. The turn of the oldest and largest club of District 3271, the Rotary Club of Karachi, for the DG’s visit came on Saturday, May 23.

Almost all the members of the RCK Board, except a few who were either traveling or unwell, attended the meeting in a conference room of the PC Hotel, to welcome the District Governor, Shakeel Kaim Khani, who arrived promptly on time. He was accompanied by the District Secretary and the DGE 2027-2028.

President RCK Naila Masood gave a detailed Power Point presentation of the club’s programmes and activities. It was an interactive session, with Trustee Aziz Memon, DGE Shahzad Sabir, IPP Shoaib Ismail, President Elect Humayun Qureshi and PP Mohammad Ovais participating with comments and observations, along with others present also chipping in.

DG Shakeel Kaim Khani was all praise for RCK’s activities, and particularly praised the Artificial Limbs Project, which he described as truly one-of-a-kind. He went on to share that he personally had talked about and praised the project all over Sindh, during his visits to different clubs, and as a result, RCK’s Artificial Limbs Centre has been increasingly receiving patients from different parts of the Sindh province.

At the end of the hour-long meeting with the DG, he was escorted by the Board members to the Zaver Hall of the PC hotel, where RCK’s 93rd Charter Night was being held.
